TCF Bank in River Forest, IL

One of the worst banks in America today (and yes that is based on personal experience). The only positive reviews I have seen so far seem to be from employees themselves, we actually caught one personal banker going from site to site posting arguments against real customers. I guess she didn't realise we could see her screen. Three complaints to the OCC in two years and the decisions were all in our favor. Their latest trick is holding cash deposits for 24 hours and pre- dating transactions.

Maybe you should base your review on your own personal experiences instead of what you read online. I'm sure there is more to the story than what you are stating and most 18 year olds are financially irresponsible anyways. Evidence of this is the fact that his mother had to pay the fees for a legal adult. I personally bank at this location and the people here are great, always friendly and helpful.

Told me they were closed and it was only 10 minutes until they closed so they wouldn't let me make the deposit I needed to make so I could pay a bill. When I asked if making the deposit at the ATM would allow the funds to be ready the next day( a Monday) they lied and said it would be. All of this while 3 TELLERS were talking amongst themselves AT the counter and laughing. I HOPE THEY ALL GET FIRED. Screwed me over big time.
