visiting from out of town, stopped in to take out some cash. teller at the counter was fine but there was an extremely pushy banker. asking me about switching accounts etc (have a legacy wachovia account) for the increased 0.25 interest rate etc. the reason for the review is that she lied to me - after turning down on numerous "offers" she offered a credit card that had 5% cash back on all purchases for 16 months. I asked several times if the 5% was for everything (not just gas groceries etc) and was told yes. She said they would mail me the information after i was applied. agree to apply and find out when they mail me the card 5% is just for gas, drugstore and groceries for 6 months. I do not understand how she thought she could get away with such a blatant lie - she would get credit for the application and since i was from out of town she wouldnt have to deal with me directly?

This is a terrible place to bank. I opened an business account here 6 months ago for a new organization that was just beginning. After 3 weeks, they closed the account and returned the check addressed to the business. The Business had some hiccups and did not take off. So I figured they could just give me back the money, after all I gave them cash and was the co-signor. Was I wrong? I spent 6 hours being tossed around from customer care, back to the bank, back to their stupid questions (asking me why I waited 6 months to go ask for the money as if it was mandatory to show up immediately). I am the signatory of that check, and have all the documents to prove. I do not want to open a business account anymore. When I ask to talk to the manager, they lie to me that she is on vacation until next week. What about the regional manager, they give me a number to one of the tellers in there? What now? Small claims court?

Sucks wells fargo all the banks today close at 2pm only this crap close before 12!!!

Beyond ridiculous with their policies. Will not do any form with transactions for the exception of deposit through their drive-thru. Refusal without explanation as to why that policies in effect. The most rude individuals I have ever met and the only reason why I have to deal with them is for business nature only
