TCF Bank in Bolingbrook, IL

I'm pretty sure TCF stands for Totally Crazy Fees. There's tons of banks out there and almost every one of them is a better choice than TCF. They'll take what little money you have on fees and then when you hit a negative balance as a result charge you fees on it, and instead of working with you, damage your credit by sending your account to a collection agency. NEVER AGAIN!

As a whole TCF chain is a fee generating machine. They have the promo deals to get your account, dont bother, it will be eaten up in the generated fees. They will also not backup your purchases with the credit/debit cards. If you have a problem your on your own. Staff has high turn around and very inexperienced. Keeping your money in a coffee jar is better then dealing with this bank.

Worst Bank ever. They are all closing down. Making everything impossible to bank at . Atm doesn't accept cash deposits? Call and be on hold for 45 mins before anyone even answers.. avoid this bank

I go to the Tcf in Jewel Osco. The ladies are very professional. I was looking for a bank and couldn't find one that fit. However, I was able to bank with tcf. They made me aware of all offers and types of banking, etc while explaining the policies and procedures . I have currently been banking with tcf for about 8 months with no problems and have no reason to complain. Thank you!

Been a customer at TCF for a couple years now and its been pretty average overall. For a bank thats located inside of Jewel Osco , its more professional and faster than you'd expect. But I'm getting more money now and this small bank doesn't seem like its meeting my needs anymore. I dislike that there is no privacy at all when banking here because theres always other customers around you. I dislike having to deal with parking by jewel shoppers and their carts when I'm simply trying to get money. I dislike the discomfort of having to stand in line then stand when banking since their are no seats, other than in their offices. Finally, I dislike the noisy/busy atmosphere here because it doesn't make me feel like its a professional bank in that sense. Of course these are all cons associated with these 'convenient banks', not just TCF and I'm just tired of the unprofessional banking conditions. I plan on changing to another bank, or at least setting up my DD at another place to not have to deal with the stress of going to Jewel just to make a deposit.
