Polite tellers, but the worst experience we have ever had with any banking institute. They deposited someone else's deposit into our account, I called, only to be assured that it was a correct deposit into our account & I was told that it could have been a refund check. Months later a large amount was pulled from our account. I called again to inquire as to why this large amount came out. I was told that a customers check had bounced. We do not accept checks at our business, so this could not possibly be correct. After four days, they called to explain they had found their mistake....the deposit from months ago was actually supposed to go into another account, not ours and they just found it. Then on multiple occassions they shorted our deposit, usually by five dollars, but once by ten dollars. We had to put systems into place at our shop, like a three person count of the deposit & deposits were always in twenty five dollar increments & we still had issues. Then once we were depositing a twenty dollar bill that a corner had been ripped off of it and the teller told us that they could not accept it and to "go spend it at another store". Really? After all of these problems in a two year span, we decided that it was time for us to cut our ties with this bank.

Our family has been doing business with ICCU for several years. It has always been great. The tellers are friendly and helpful, wait time is never long and I appreciate that they address me by my name instead of "hun". We will never bank anywhere else.

Long story short I had some issues with my account where an outside company overcharged me an amount. They reversed the charge but it still put my account into the negative befor they fixed it, because my account had gone into the negative iccu automatically charges you an overdraft fee. After the money had been put back from the outside company iccu's overdraft charge came in and put my account back into the negative. So I called them explaining everything that happened. They said they would reverse the charge because it was the outside companies mistake. I said that's great now what about the fact that my account went into the negative again and if I should expect another overdraft charge the girl who I spoke to said it shouldn't do that and that my account was fixed and that I shouldn't expect another overdraft charge from this incident. Guess what I found on my account this morning? Another overdraft charge because of the mishap from the other day. So I called in again explained everything to the new girl she said it was my fault that I overreacted from some $2 charge. I didn't except that answer and she transferred me to some other department who in no joke 5 seconds said she would reverse it as a one time courtesy. Their online banking system is okay but the way they issue out overdraft fees is a bit ridiculous. And both reps that I spoke to were less than familiar with the way their own system works.

My fiancee and I couldn't have asked for a friendlier and professional experience with the staff at ICCU. Chelsea Hawley has been more than helpful every step of the way. From setting up an account to providing us with auto loan info, she's always so informative and pleasant! Thank you Chelsea and the rest of the incrediable staff at ICCU!
