Des Moines Metro Credit Union in Des Moines, IA

I have banked with other banks and credit unions in the past. I recently moved and found Des Moines Metro Credit Union was near by. Getting an account was just like every other bank/credit union with one MAJOR EXCEPTION they will run your credit without your knowledge before they decide if they are going to give you a debit card. If you are under there predetermined score you don't get a debit card at all. If you decide you want to close down your account after they deny you a debit card they will charge you 15 dollars to leave. Bad service Bad credit union.

This bank told me on 2 occasions where I called them on the phone that I had money in bank account when I didn't have any. This resulted in 2 $30 overdraft fees plus whatever I spent after using my debit card. I would not bank with them.
