Thus place is a joke, everyone is friendly when you get a loan but after that it's nothing but lies and disrespect, I will NEVER go through here again!!

I will say, I generally don't have many qualms with the services offered with FSUCU considering they are a small credit union but while the staff is almost always friendly, the service is BAD. I have experienced the same speed of service (or lack thereof) at each branch in town. When using drive thru banking, I almost ALWAYS have to call a teller even if someone is standing right there. There have been many occasions where other members are being helping and no one even so much as attempts to greet me to let me know they'll be right with me. I have to initiate the interaction each and every time. Additionally, there are ALWAYS 2-3 bankers or managers standing behind the counter when I come in but only one is assisting members. That is totally fine, but for the others to keep their heads down and act like there isn't a line of people or at least address us is aggravating. I work in a field where not everyone is deployed to a register but we are all responsible for acknowledging guests and letting them know they won't be waiting long. This has been an issue as long as I've been a member for the past six years.

We went in looking to get a loan for an undisclosed amount and the tellers were friendly and greeted us when we came in the door. The time was about 4:30, near closing time, but still plenty of time to talk to someone about a loan. However, that was the best of it. We asked about the loan and were told to go and fill out an application while the loan officer was helping someone else. As we began filling out the form, the loan officer finished up with their client. She did not acknowledge us and just went into the back and disappeared. We waited probably 10 minutes and nothing. So we left..... All the loan officer would have needed to do was acknowledge us and say something like, "I will be with you in just a minute." That never happened. Now, some of you may read this and think, they waited 10 minutes, but we had two busy and wiggly children with us ages 1 year and 3 years. So, as a parent, 10 minutes can seem like an eternity. Again, all we needed was an acknowledgement of our presence and a friendly hello and we would have waited. We just didn't know if we would be helped or if the loan officer was going home or what, so we left and will try somewhere else for a loan. It was frustrating because I am currently working 60-70 hours/week and don't have a lot of time to visit multiple organizations for a loan. As a member of the CU, I expected better service than what I received.

This bank is very outdated in how they as far as transferring to other institution, check depositing, cash depositing, disputing transaction, and etc.

I was going to post that I've been very pleased with my loan for a vehicle purchase up until the last two months. If I forgot to make a payment, they called to remind me. The last few months, I've been referred to an automated teller to make the payment, but don't have my account info. The rep was snarky to me when I asked for the info. I am trying to make my final payment and have been hung up on four times, after holding at least 6 minutes each time. I know there's always growing pains when there's an expansion, but it's getting ridiculous. Can't wait to be done with this bank.
