All I can say is that they don’t treat their customers well. I will never recommend this place to no one.

They are showing $364 with credit bureau and nothing is due according to court trustee.They were paid in full. They filed claim for $1692 in my Chapter 13 and were paid $1894.72, plus I had made 6 payments before the bankruptcy. They also submitted a 1099c in the amount of $1432.70 cancelling the debt. This is paid in full and they will not remove the $364 from credit bureau and dont respond to the several emails I have sent them. I would like the title back in my name. Doesnt seem legal to cancel a debt and collect it too.

My loan with Embassy was due on May 1, 2016 but due to medical expenses that came up for a family member that I'm responsible for with breast cancer, I was not able to make the due date. I contacted the manager at the branch first by phone and later came in to set up an arrangement and at that time submitted documents to prove the expense issue. The manager made copies of the documents and also took a photo of my license and stated it was needed to support the arrangement. I sat down with the manager, we set up the arrangement date and was told that as long as the date is kept there would not be an issue. Four days later and before the arrangement date, a towing company shows up at my residence and proceeds to pick up the car, when I asked what was going on since no one had called, emailed, text or otherwise communicated to me from Embassy loans that there was a problem. The driver stated that they had orders to pick up this vehicle from Embassy loans. I then called Embassy loans and they stated the manager you spoke with is not in and no one else has any information on your case, try calling tomorrow he should be in. In addition they have added towing, storage, handling and late fees to the original amount.

Be careful, they hide the fees in their contract that they automatically add to your payments! If you don't complain about it within 7 days, your stuck with extra payment for those fees!

I've had two loans with this company, honestly it isn't too bad. The only thing I would suggest they change is the ability to allow flexibility to deny insurance waiver mid payments with proof of insurance paid. Their interest rates really aren't that bad, the insurance they require if you don't have your personal premiums paid in full are a little high, about $100/month, but if you do need money quickly and have poor credit this isn't a terrible way to go about getting a loan. However please please please consider the risk versus your actual ability to pay on time and pay in full with them. There is no wiggle room with these guys, you fail to make your payments they will take your car, but can you really get mad about that? You are putting your car up as collateral for the loan so that is their business. When considering a title loan you must really really consider and exhaust all other options before going with this. If this is the route you choose it's not the end of the world, just pay your payments on time and you'll be alright.
