CFE Federal Credit Union in Sanford, FL

I love it

My husband used the ATM machine at our local branch to get cash on a bank holiday. Later, he realized that he did not have his debit card and concluded that he may have left it in the machine, but he was not sure. Since the bank was closed, he had to wait until the next day to check on its whereabouts after work. When he asked the teller, she said that the machine is serviced by a different company and if the card was left in it, they would mail it back to us in a week or so. She offered no way to contact the company or confirm if, in fact, the card was even left in the machine. She also said it would take longer to cancel the card and get a new one than to wait for it to be mailed by the ATM company. The only thing she offered to do is look at the account to see if there was any suspicious activity. My husband was so surprised and caught off guard that he just left without doing anything further. However, after thinking about it, he realizes that it is somewhat ridiculous to be without his card for an unspecified amount of time and to have no knowledge of it's whereabouts. We have checked our account and there has been no unauthorized activity, but we cannot be absolutely certain that the card was left in the machine. In addition, we don't use credit cards, so he has no way to get cash or pay for anything. He's a teacher, so he cannot leave campus during the day to get cash and there's no CFE bank in the vicinity anyway. I am very surprised that, as stated by the teller, there is "nothing" that can be done. Wow - great customer service. This is not my first run-in with the horrible customer service at this bank; time to bank elsewhere.

i rather put 0 starts but this wont let me!!! worst bank ever!!!! Every time i use my debit card there is a problem! Every time I have went in there is a long wait including the customer service. I've had my card randomly shut off several times while i would be at grocery stores with my children. Some one always disconnects the wrong card when they have me come into the back and then connect it to the wrong account. Constantly being locked out of my online banking and use of mu cards. SUCH A HEADACHE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!

I left Bank of America after 30 years and never looked back. CFE knows me, is always helpful and my debit and credit card works flawlessly.

They are friendly and helpful also only place I can mail and it all gets received.
