Embassy Car Title Loan in Port St. Lucie, FL

I never had experience as bad as this with any company so far. I went in their store to get my title back and they sad they don't have it. It took 2 weeks of hard arguing to get it back...

I got a loan with Embassy loans without researching the company. What I find out, they actually not only harass you by calling you if you behind payments, they come to your home daily and before 30 days is up, take your car.

What a scam! I took a loan out of $500 just to get brake work done for my car. I made payments of $122.58 a month. My loan is still out till this day. I thought I paid all my payments. I now owe $678.00 even while I have been making the minimum payment to them. I only made $18 worth of payments to them is what they told me. I found out today that my loan will go until August or I can give them my car and then all payments will stop and I won’t owe anything. I need my car. They are not willing to do anything with me now that I’m late on 1 payment, other than to repo my car!

DO NOT USE OR FALL FOR THIS LOAN! If I can give a 0, I would. The customer service was awesome. The closing documents just about shocked me at the real interest that this company is accruing and how much a $1,000 loan turns out to be (at around $5,000 when all is said and done in two years). Embassy loans will begin to harass you and anyone you have listed on the application if you are one day late. Borrow from a family member or friend. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!

Do not put yourself through this! In a desperate time I made the mistake of taking a loan against my car. Initially it was a 60 day term, and I was making progress paying it down. This company changed the terms to 30 days. It is impossible to reduce the principal paying the minimum payment. They are like leg breaking loan sharks! I called on the day my payment was due to tell them I needed to come in the next day. One hour later they called all of my references. I have a friend who was 2 days late (and had called them stating they would be in the next day) and they came to her house and left a threatening notice on her front door! Disgusting! Should be laws against this type of lending practice!
