Vystar has always helped me I now have 2 loans with them and they've even been there for me with a debit card scare I think their a great bank to have if my family and I were to ever move out of state this bank would definitely be missed. Thank you Vystar.

I relocated to Jax area about a year ago. After being a member for about 6 months, I can honestly say I'm an unhappy member. Working in the retail industry I frequent banks for deposits and change funds. Yesterday I visited the location on Normandy Blvd location looking to get some rolled coins for change. I was short on time and couldn't make it to our company bank but being a member with VyStar, I used this location before for a quick stop.. after all, I AM a member. I have had to do this once every 7-10 days or so due to shortage of time and the convenience of this location for me. The teller,Melani Mendenhall, was not only unhelpful but also very rude. First she told me No. after I explained I had used this branch a few time before she told me that I wasn't allowed because they needed to save the rolled coins for the members. hellooooo... I AM A MEMBER. I wasn't looking to break the bank as I only need $150 in coins, not some outrageous amount. She then left to the back to ask her supervisor. After returning she tells me that they are going to charge me 5 cents per roll as a service charge. Shocked by her response I told her I thought that was crazy at which time she told me I was welcomed to go somewhere else!! Like, really??!?! I told her just to debut the fee from my account because I really needed to get the change, I had already been there 25 minutes at this point. She went to the back again and returned a few minutes later with my change. I was charged $2.35 for it. After she passed it through to me I expressed that I was disappointed with my experience and I wasn't sure I was going to continue to bank with VyStar, after all, I am still a happy account holder with USAA also. She sneered and told me that it was my choice. I have decided at this point that my VyStar account will pretty much become dormant as I will NEVER be talked to like that by an employee of a member owned credit union. She should have a job away from the front line. She is not customer friendly at all. Sadly disappoint.

Worst service ever. They baited me in with a loan program for 2.9% all used cars. SO then when I do the app, they hit me with 4.9% because of a 4 point discrepancy in my Credit Score!! I mean 4 points. So then I realized I walked out of there with no paperwork. So now calling and trying to get it, they give me the total run around telling me they cannot mail me the paperwork. Woman on the phone was horrible!! Then have you noticed that half the branches / ATM's for them in the city don't work? I am about to shuffle my money to someone else, real soon!! Someone who cares about the customer. You give them your loan number, but they cannot get your member number for it. I moved here from another state, and this is my fourth state I have moved too. Never did I have to go through the headaches they put me through. I was forced to get a Florida driver license, just to open my loan with them. Now I as the customer, have to be inconvenienced because of their failures.

Is nice that is in a convenient location but they are way too slow on depositing from the night Dropbox. Several times have had to wait 2 days. Or isn't deposited until after 4 pm.
