Loanwise Financial in Maitland, FL

Well I have to say our experience so far has been the same as others have mentioned. Very slow communication, at 60 days and still have not closed, tons of errors on paperwork and have had to do it several times, a super huge hassle to say the least. If we had not paid $525 for an appraisal I think we would have pulled the plug as well. But unfortunately in all this time, all the rates have gone up and we cannot get the rate we are currently at. The only good thing is our rate has been honored even though we are well past our 45 day lock. We are waiting to get a HELOC in place and are being held up by this loan not closing. Our original loan officer started things off well but his support staff is just not cutting it - and they are the important part to this process!

At first everything went very smoothly. Their online document signing worked well and I thought we would close very quickly. Then we were waiting and waiting on loan wise. I keep emailing to make sure they didn't need anything from me. Eventually we got our closing docs after over 60 days. The payoff amount was incorrect and the fees were $290 higher than quoted. I'm still trying to resolve. I'm thinking about starting over with a new lender. I have purchased 4 homes and refinanced several times and never has it taken so long to close with so little follow up. I would not use this lender again.

"My wife and I just refinanced our condo which we had been putting off because it is the financial equivalent of having a colonoscopy. We used a company called Loanwise to secure the loan. A gentleman by the name of Martin Wareing handled our loan application and did a great job. Loanwise uses a software portal that made the uploading and signing of documents extremely easy, and I can assure you that I am not a tech-savvy kid with crazy computer skills. The time it took to close the loan was probably less than a month. In conclusion, we were very pleased and satisfied with the entire process.

Horrible! Closed 4 days ago and still have not received money yet. Communication was very poor and slow. They NEVER gave me status - I had to ask - multiple times! Was passed off to several people and each new person did not know what the previous was doing. They requested the same documents several times. They verified my employment 3 times. I was originally promised a very quick and smooth process, but this was VERY far from it. We finally closed in a cash-out loan and I am currently paying interest on monies I have not yet received. I have multiple properties. There would have been multiple opportunities for Loanwise do business with me, but after this experience - FORGET IT!

I was initially hooked by the low refinance rates and in the end - I'm glad to be where I'm at Thanks to Loanwise, but there are many more gray hairs on my head due to the process; with the delays in answering emails and deadlines being missed I was consistently chasing someone for an answer. Even today, I'm waiting for an answer on a 1098 form and tried three different forms of contact and the only brief response is through their Facebook page. I've worked hard for my savings.
