Mid Atlantic Finance Company in Clearwater, FL

Last year we were able to finance a Tahoe thru them and they worked with us on the down payment since we didn't have good credit. But then when things got bad for us when work got slow, and other unfortune things were happening, and we were struggling my husband called to try to make payment arrangements until we could get caught up. He could never get anyone to answer until finally weeks later. The lady that finally answered told him what minimum he could pay and she would work out the rest. That he had to call back. Well he tried to call back for 2 weeks and could not get anyone. They repoed our vehicle not long after that and still he could not get ahold of anyone. Somehow even the repo guy knew about my husband and the lady's last conversation. Still nothing. We received a notice several months later that our Tahoe sold at a auction and we were getting a check at some point since it sold for more than what we owed. And now it's been several months and we haven't seen a check or heard from anyone. Husband can't get anyone to answer at Mid Atlantic either! And he's been trying for weeks.

Don't ever go through this company. If you go to a lot to buy a car make the sure they promise to never sell your loan to this place or don't buy a car there. This company is so incompetent. They stalk and harass you even if you pay on time. When i moved they kept calling saying i needed to verify my address but they always had my old address after i had given them my new address and phone number like 20 times. I was like you don't have my new address but you have my new number when i gave both on the same day. This happens when you get a new account manager which happens often. The new manager needs the new info so they say. I have given them a good time to call me because of my work schedule but they call at the wrong time and will continue to call until i answer. I get paid on Friday so they always start calling me on monday asking for money every day until you get paid. I could go on. Never use this company.

horrible company, write names ,time and dates when you talk them. even record if you have too. I had a Cease and desist and they continued to call me ,Reps give wrong information in their notes lucky I was able to pay my car off but trust me you do not want to deal with them. I had to send an email to the VP just to get help. And a local floor manager was the one who listen to the problem and helped me in the end. She is working with the reps on better customer service Tracy in the Clearwater branch is that company's life saver.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Agents are supervisors are incompetent. Worst customer service I've experienced. They bought my loan which was in good standing from a buy here pay here dealership, all the information they had was incorrect and offered no proof that they were the new lien holders

Company is a complete joke. Went to a buy here pay here place and they unfortunately sent them (mid atlantic) my contract and title. So after trying to deal with workers you can not understand and that lack basic social skills I honestly give up. I literally decide to pay off my entire loan to get away from this company. The only time they receive business is when loan contracts like mine get sent to them without the customers knowledge or consent. I wasn't behind on payments but my contract and title just got sent over anyway. So now I decide to pay my loan off like a year early and guess what it takes a month for them to release the title to you if you pay by debit card. I'm talking about paid in full too. So I talk to a supervisor (pretty much as dumb as the first agent) who then says well if you pay buy money gram it only takes 15 business days (for those who do not know thats 3 weeks so much better than a month) to get my title. So now I can not trade my car in or sell it due to this policy. So I said isn't that like buying groceries and the cashier saying pick them up next week. This will be a company that will eventually go under and close it doors, just have to wait s*** businesses like this out for another year or two. Just going to contact BBB tomorrow and let them add a file to the probably thousands for this company.
