If there was a zero star rating I'd choose it. These clowns repeatedly wasted our time and went out of their way to try to mess up our home purchase. Disorganized, clueless and unprofessional. I half think they either had some sort of beef with us or just hate Coast Guard people. Had to get the local JAG office involved in the end to get them under control. DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS FOR ANYTHING AND ESPECIALLY NOT FOR A MORTGAGE! I know Navy Federal is on a lot of bases, but you're a lot better off dealing with almost any other bank (USAA, Bank of America and HSBC have been great for general banking even with moves). Do not be fooled by the no PMI thing - I wish I had used any of those banks instead.

Our experience with NFCU mortgage was nothing short of perfect. Our loan officer was professional and super patient with us. Getting all the documents and information managed was as efficient as can be expected with any process that needs so many signatures and so much detail. All along the process there was nothing but straight forward answers and timely information. We have purchased several homes and this one was super easy. We are qualified buyers and did our part to keep up the flow of information which I am sure helps but NFCU met us more than half way in this experience and we highly recommendation NFCU mortgage department/mortgage products and especially Meredith Stone at the Nautilus Park branch.

The employees are always friendly and help you quickly as well as efficiently.

Great credit union. With a semi low credit score walked out with a good rate car loan same day. Super nice.
