My fiancé and I recently purchased our first home and engaged the services of Delano Mortgage. Brian was professional, courteous and always on top of things. My fiancé works over 50 hours a week and Brian had no problem accommodating our crazy schedules. As a first time home buyer, we really didn’t know what to expect in terms of closing costs and the home buying experience. It was nerve wrecking and Brian knew exactly how we felt along the way. He held our hand through the process and explained, re-explained and completely broke everything down for us. He always made sure that both my fiancé and I understood each part of the process, what was going to be expected of us both administratively and financially, and also what we should be expecting from others. He had no problems working with our attorney, insurance agents, appraisers, etc. When we were thrown about the flood insurance requirement for our particular property, he let us know exactly what would be required and how to go about getting there. He was always available to answer any questions and made sure that the documents forwarded by other parties were complete and satisfactory. His thoroughness was astounding; because of his do diligence we were saved from being over charged approximately $300 on items that we already paid that our own attorney did not catch!
