TCF Bank in Lafayette, CO

I deposit 3k cash in the atm. Prints a receipt says I have 5k cash available. I go to make a payment the next day and card won't pay. Apparently the atm deposits don't get rang in til the next day afternoon!? WTF!? I had a conversation with an red head attendant the next day and she was rude like it was my fault I look like an idiot on a large item purchase. I'm upset and she tells me to leave?? So instead of solving my issue she kicks me out of the bank.. I was not threatning..or being rude.. I will be changing fininancial institutions..she should not be dealing with the public... I went to home state bank. They are 100 times better than TCF and local too! They pay all you atm fees..ALL ATM FEES ANYWHERE FROM ANYONE...much friendlier staff as well.. the investment bankers there are much more knowledgeable.. GO BACK TO MN TCF!!!!

I'm not sure what the other reviewer is expecting; it's a bank. All banks charge ridiculous fees when you over draft. Don't over draft and everything is free. I like this bank, they have twice gone out of their way to clear checks for me that they probably should have held. And they are open really late during the week and Saturday and Sunday. That right there gives them my vote but the people at this branch are always friendly and try hard. Can't really ask for more than that. Thanks guys!

Friendly, helpful customer service with a smile. I switched from the local green bank (after15 years) and the big red bank and couldn't be happier. I have saved hundreds of dollars on fees/charges over the last 3 years and I no longer dread the wait lines and snooty attitudes of my former institutions. Be considerate of bad reviews that contain the word "overdraft" as they are biased. I mean, this is a bank and an overdraft is an overdraft.

I've been banking here for years. I pay cash for everything, including all my previous cars and house. I have no student loans or debt at all. I have a very decent paying job. I tried to get an auto loan there and was willing to pay 2/3 rds down on the car and finance the 1/3rd. The 1/3rd I could earn in a month. But because I have no credit score they basically laughed at me. They made me feel like I was some sort of criminal or outcast. I'll be looking at banking with a Credit Union from here on out.
