Western Rockies Federal Credit Union in Grand Junction, CO

This is by far the worst banking experience I have ever had. Signed up here because they were "nice" but found out they are completely screwy. Started getting charged for Bill Pay at $6 a month though we were told it would be free. Started getting late payment notices and found out my Bill Pay payments were not going through, though no idea why. Signing in to the bank account is a hassle, you have to login separately for each service. We were told that we could use the STAR network for banking anywhere. Found out later that you have to be a member for at least 6 months before you can cash checks or withdraw in the STAR network, got stuck with no access to our cash. Actually found out this rule applied to alot of their services which included auto loans (though it is not listed anywhere in the fine print). Tried to support my local community credit union but got hosed.

Weekends and holidays there is absolutely NO customer service/support. This is a 4 day holiday and I can not use my card because it is frozen/blocked fir whatever reason. Time to find another bank that offers customer service 24/7. Good-by Western Rockies.

I've been banking here for 5 years and I've never been happier. They remember me every time I go through drive through. They just hired a bunch of new tellers and it was rocky at first but they are quickly catching on with their training.
