Furious. Elevations wouldn't approve my application for a car loan as my credit is in repair. This is completely understandable. They never got back to me to let me know I wasn't approved, not understandable. Finally called two weeks later. Instead went through Bellco and have been making payments through Elevations to Bellco with their banking network without issue ever since, until today. Firstly, I have never had to use my ID at this branch to make my payment to Bellco. I have given them my account number and password. They then would take my deposit and make my payment. Today I was asked for my ID. As I am waiting for the exceedingly slow government to mail a new one to me, mine is expired. Happy birthday! They would not take my payment. They would happily take my money for a deposit but would not pass it on to Bellco. I have evidence of my making payments on multiple occasions in their computer. I have been a customer for years.I have established my identity enough for them to take my money. There is zero logical basis for this occurance. The manager simply directed me to CUNA as the rule setters and said complaining to them would get me nowhere and that there was nothing he could do. For him, this is lazy. A redirect of the problem to some faceless institution. Customer service score is zero. Opportunity for massive improvement. This is the problem with banks as a whole today. They set rules with zero basis in reality and then proceed to disregard customer service as they are of the opinion that you can't do anything anyhow so why should they make an effort to provide understanding. The manager had no good explanation so passed the buck. If only he would have passed my actual bucks. Instead, "Google CUNA and maybe do online banking transfers." Any offer to walk me through that? Nope, otherwise this would be a four star review about positive customer service and fixing a problem. That banks are the be all and end all is no longer fact. Anyone reading this please look into BLOCK CHAIN technology. It is time to remove the banks as intermediaries. They add no value and only slow down the process while taking a small cut. Make the Mafia look small and tame. After eight years here I would like to suggest readers of this review to consider banking elsewhere. However, as piles of crap go, Elevations is one of the least smelly. Home State Bank was great too, we'll see how Guaranty Bank is as the new owner. In conclusion, it is sad. I remember a time when banks had great customer service and we're very personable with the goal of helping themselves by helping you. Get your act together Elevations. You could be so much better!
