SDCCU Oceanside Branch in Oceanside, CA

started charging me for "free checking".

Never even made it inside the Oceanside branch, located on college blvd. Met a friend in the empty parking lot before the bank opened. We caught up on eachothers lives, and were talking when one of the managers came out of the branch, walked to the middle of te parking lot where we were talking, and said we needed to leave or he would call the police. It was 9:20 am and there was only one other car in the entire lot. My friend banks there (for now), and there is no way I would now. They make B of A look appealing. Stay away if u want a pleasant banking experience.

Switched from Chase and I am loving it. No hidden fees or disrespectful tellers. I love SDCCU!

Love it here! Went from Wellsfargo to this bank and love the staff! If you pay attention to what the banker tells you than you won't get charged for free checking! Duh! The person who said they get charged for free checking obviously didn't pay attention to the banker! Doesn't take a genius to figure out how it works! I recommended this bank to many people and not one has had any problems with it what so ever! This bank is great for anyone!

I have a SDCCU account and a Chase account. I think Chase is more convenient for me. Although Chase barely has any interest and this is a lot better on that. With chase they let me know immediately of my purchases. I've had a problem with when i make a purchase or multiple purchases on the weekend, it doesn't even say pending. It just says you still have a full amount and then monday rolls around and I lost way to much money because i thought I had more than I did. I like how chase is on top of it every time I make a purchase.
