Literally the absolute friendliest staff I've ever had to encounter. Everyone was so sweet and helpful! I'm always in and out and I've only had good experiences. I recommend Arizona Federal to anyone looking to open an account.

DO NOT BANK WITH ARIZONA FEDERAL When I first started with Arizona Federal Credit Union, their customer service and willingness to help members was exemplary. In the past two years however, something has changed. For one, this credit union has gotten fee happy, just like a bank. They will assess overdraft fee on top of overdraft fee. If you ask them to remove the overdraft fees, they will remove only "some' of them. They also are very inflexible on their loan payment terms, and are martinets about it. Due to the same financial situation that caused my overdraft fee, namely having to be the sole source of income for two people because of a medical emergency, I asked for a deferral, not a skip, a deferral mind you, and they refused. Other customer service concerns include the fact that they will not call you back when they say that they will, and their promises are meaningless. They said they would not sweep my account for a loan payment. They did, and as a result, my account ended up in the hole. Save your money. They're no different than a corporate bank

I love credit unions, however I am unable to use the mobile check deposit and rarely have the time to show up during normal business hours at a branch due to being a towing professional with a 24/7 on call status. The bank teller told me I could enroll due to my job and all I had to do was call the phone number, after 4-6 hours on hold for 3 days and no call back after selecting that option I resorted to email, well guess what! The email reply from the bank was to call the phone number! I showed up at a branch and everyone I have asked for help in this matter has referred me to the phone number that NEVER REPLIES and is PERMANENTLY ON HOLD! Fix this problem or I will close my account and find another bank that would like to show good customer service by helping their members rather than blowing them off and directing them to a phone number with zero chance of reply.

Been banking with them since 1995. Everything has been mostly great for a long time. Within the last few years they've started charging me a membership dues fee. When I called to ask why they said that there are more online services available to me. I told them that I don't use the extra services, but they told me that they charge it to all members now just because they're available. If I hadn't been there already for over 20 years I'd be looking elsewhere. I don't like being nickle & dimed for little things like this. Yes, it's just $3 a month, but it's MY $3, and I never paid a memberships dues fee for nearly 2 decades of being their customer. It's the little things that make or break long term business relationships like this.
