Marine Credit Union (Eau Claire) in Eau Claire, WI

Stay away from this place if you are looking for Marine Insurance Services. We talked to their agent, Maria via phone and E-mail. Never met the woman. She was unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. She would call you and when you answer the phone, she would not identify herself or who she represented. After a few exchanges via the phone, we canceled our appointment with her and never signed up for them. A month later we get a bill for $700+ and a nastygram telling us our house insurance is to be canceled. House insurance we never signed up for......... I spent 2 days trying to locate someone at the corporate level to fix her fraud. We never met her or signed a single thing, yet she felt the need to sign us up for insurance without our authorization. Sounds like fraud to me. Stay away from this place and their unprofessional hack job reps. Go anywhere else for insurance. Anywhere.

I have been a customer of the teacher's credit union for years and have always been treated well. Wendy is an excellent staff person. I don't know yet how I would rate them over time as Marine Credit Union, but so far, so good!

Sara Griffin is nothing short of amazing!! Needed a second vehicle loan and she made it happen. Would recommend Sara and Marine to everyone!

I generally enjoy working with marine credit union and feel like I get the best rates with them. However after applying for a second loan with Amanda, she wouldn't return any of my phone calls. After going through the application process I never heard back so I called after two days and she didn't seem to know anything yet. ??? She said she would get back to me at the end of the day. Another two days have passed and I'm not calling.

Horrible place. We're a month behind, I got shorted on my paycheck from work, and we told them when we'd pay the rest of it, and they have called on a daily basis for a week now. When we quit answering their calls, because how many ways can you say "you'll get your money when we get ours," and they called my work to tell me that we were behind, and when would we be paying? Every time we talk to someone they say they'll note the account, but then the next person will say there are no notes on the account. We're SO close to paying off this stupid loan, and I'll be so happy to never have to work with or talk to anyone at this establishment ever again. If someone says they'll pay you in 7 days, don't call every one of those days to ask when they'll be paying. Not a good business plan unless you really just hate your customers. Honestly if it let me give zero stars I would.
