Guaranty Bank in Delavan, WI

It's convenient when you are shopping at Wal-mart, but it would be nice to have a location outside of Wal-mart with drive-ups. Sometimes a person doesn't want to deal with the parking or having to go inside Wal-mart.

I just moved to Southern WI and was looking for a new bank because my old bank's closest location is 2 hours away. I saw Guaranty Bank when I was at Walmart shopping and decided to check it out. The first thing I noticed were their hours- they are open until 7pm Mon-Fri, 4pm on Saturdays, and 2pm on SUNDAYS which is unheard of! It's beyond convenient for my busy schedule. Secondly, I am working to rebuild my credit, and they have a credit building CD that I pay less than $25.00/month into and get back $1000.00 after 4 or 5 years. It boosted my credit 40 points right after I started it! They have an App that makes online banking and transferring money easy...I am extremely happy with this bank. Only reason for 4 Stars instead of 5 is they don't give you starter checks. If you want checks you have to order them and wait, but overall, I definitely recommend this bank!

Really poor customer service at this branch location, at multiple times have I experienced it. I once had a legitimate issue and the broad with the super short haircut was so condescending and made the issue so much worse than she needed to. All she needed to do was give me the 800 number but she opted to attempt to scold me. When I asked for her supervisor because she wasn't helping me and at that time hadnt mentioned the 800 number I had to call, she said "trust me, you don't want to speak to my boss and he's not even in". Yeah. AVOID.
