The lender I worked with at Academy Mortgage was very helpful and attentive throughout the whole buying process of my finding and purchasing my home.

Jim was such a delight to work with! He is very thorough and knows what he's doing. Buying a home can be an extremely stressful process. Friends and family would ask, "How are you doing? Are you stressed with the home buying experience?" I can honestly say that I was not stressed at all. Jim was there to answer any questions I had, even after hours (and I had lots of questions). And at the beginning of each stage of the process, Jim would email me an outline of exactly what to expect. It was awesome to work with Jim!

Matt Merrill has helped us with 2 home purchases now. He is truly the best. We have recommended him to friends and family and all have been impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and organization, as well as the fact that he is genuinely a nice and honest guy. During the time of our most recent home purchase, my husband was diagnosed with cancer, I was pregnant with our youngest daughter, we were in the middle of our 3rd adoption of our second youngest, and my husband's mom was losing her battle with cancer. We were actively navigating the medical system to obtain diagnosis and therapies for two of our children who have special needs and I had to take my husband for week long chemo every third week which made him very, very sick before it made him better. Our whole world was upside down. Matt took hold of the house buying process for us and made sure that at a time when our whole world was spinning that he took care of the steps for the move for us. He worked around my husbands chemo, our crazy lovable kids, and my full term pregnant self. He gently reminded us each step of the way what he needed from us and handled whatever he could through electronic signatures and accommodations. We are now in a beautiful home, large enough for all our crazy kids, my husband is cancer free and all our adoptions are done. I look back at the last year and I am so grateful for Matt and everything he did for us to make our house buying process the least stressful that he could for us with kindness and compassion. He is the best and we recommend him to everyone we know!

Brook was so nice and helped me understand step by step the process of our refinance. She was referred by a friend and she exceeded my expectations. Everything went smoothly. I expected to have to do more face to face contact but the process is so easy know that it was not needed.

The Team at Academy, Jevon & Candi are the two people I communicated the most with. Both of them know how intimidating buying a home can be. Especially if it is your first time. They make it easy & can explain the process clearly. This helps with having a plan going into buying your home. In addition, they provide several different options on how your financing can be setup. Also they have an App, with a mortgage calculator in it. Which is extremely helpful, when searching for a home. It allows you see what your payment would be. My experience with Academy was awesome!
