Ty Windhorst and his whole team provided an excellent lending experience. They communicated with us during each step of the loan process and provided weekly summaries. When we changed the loan parameters in the middle of the process, Ty turned the entire loan around in 4 days! We were able to contrast our experience with that of the people purchasing our home. They never knew what was going on, their process dragged on forever and they ended up losing the house. What a difference! Julie Becker and Gina Newman took up the reins on our loan package as soon as they were aware of it, and didn't slow down until closing. They were skilled, professional, and courteous, even when they discovered we were financing a manufactured home instead of a stick-built one. The underwriting requirements are more stringent for a manufactured home, but they regrouped and re-attacked the problem. Toss in less-than-perfect credit, and they continued on as if that was "No Problem." We felt confident that they would get us through the process, and it was amazing and gratifying to just sit back and let them take care of it. When they needed to, they called in extra help to review and improve our credit scores; from that, we received one-on-one guidance so we could groom our credit score to qualify for the loan. Julie and Gina were with us from start-to-finish, always had answers to our questions, and were available almost every time I called. When they weren't available, they called us back, always within a short time. If we had to do this again, I would hope to have Julie and Gina on my team at Heritage Home Loans. I have purchased four homes in my life so far, and they facilitated the easiest experience I have ever had. You could only hope to get the professional assistance Julie and Gina provided us. My husband and I were in the market to purchase our first home; we had gone to three different banks and gotten the same result from all of them. They weren't really interested in helping us or explaining anything to us because we weren't rich and didn't have a lot of money to put down and we didn't have a huge monthly budget to where we could afford a large loan. I can't tell you how many questions I asked and then asked again, but no matter how many times I asked they took the time to answer. I have a really rough schedule to work with, but that didn't matter they worked with us, they stayed after hours to meet or talk with us weither in person or on the phone. More important than them being so patient and kind, they were HONEST! They sat down and told us what we could afford and why. They never pushed us in any direction or tried to rush us into buying anything, they waited until we were really ready! They also recommended a WONDERFUL realtor, who without we would never found our home! She was awesome! I will always come back to Heritage Home Loans for any future homes we purchase.
