Connection Credit Union in Silverdale, WA

I use this place for branch sharing but I should open an account here. The staff is nice and always helpful . I always go to Charie because she is so nice and really funny and knows the answer to all my questions I've never had a favorite bank before - just wish they were open weekends

5/28/15 Horrible customer service! They can't even return a phone call. My husband and I financed a vehicle from them in January 2015. Edie promised an extended warranty before we signed any paperwork because the dealership didn't offer them. I left 4 messages for Edie to return my call in March and I'm still waiting. I spoke with the manager of the bank and he assured me that Edie would call me back on Monday. Never happened. So I switched my direct deposit to BECU where my husband and I are very happy. 6/17/15 We just received 2 warranty brochures from Evie In the mail and a hand written post it stating.... Hi, I hope you guy's are doing well, enjoying your truck & the beautiful weather, I know I gave this brochure before, but if you still need & have not done or added the warranty please call the 800 number for a price quote. Say hello, stop by @ the branch sometime. Evie First of all we were never given the warranty information for truck, second of all a Bank sending you a hand written letter on a post it. Seriously? I really don't know what else to say other than I'm really shocked of the lack of professionalism and lying about giving us warranty information before.

I have been a member since 1985. I joined Kit-Com Credit Union thru my union that merged with Kitsap Public Employees Credit Union. Then they changed the name to Connection Credit Union. I have been pleased with the service I have received. Everyone is always nice and courtesy. I love the fact they are shared branching because I now live in Tacoma.

THIS BANK WANTS YOU TO GO THROUGH THE RINGER. THEY STATE THAT THEY "HELP" PEOPLE WITH NO SO GOOD CREDIT GET ON THEIR FEET. THE PEOPLE AT THIS BANK WERE VERY DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE AND JUDGEMENTAL OF WHO WE ARE AS PEOPLE. THEY DISCIMINATED AGAINST US FOR BEING A GAY COUPLE. THEY BROUGHT OUR PERSONAL LIFE INTO THE SITUATION EVEN THOUGH THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A LOAN. THEY GAVE US MANY INSTRUCTIONS ON THINGS NEEDED AND WE MET EVERYTHING THEY ASKED FOR THEY LIED STATING THEY HAD TALKED TO PEOPLE WHEN THEY HADNT EVEN THE CEO LIED TO US. WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMENED THIS BANK TO ANYBODY FOR ANY REASON EVER. AFTER WEEKS OF THEM SAYING WE WERE APPROVED THEY BACKED OUT 3 TIMES EVEN THOUGH WE HAD EVERYTHING THEY ASKED FOR IN ORDER WE WERE NOT GIVIN ANY RESPECT WHEN IT CAME TO THIS MANNER WE WERE JUDGED AS SOON AS WE WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR.

I have an auto loan through connection credit union and at first I was just angry with the crappy sales lot they finance. The car that was sold to me was sold without the required safety inspection and several other promises of service. I had to voluntarily repossess the vehicle due to the engine seizing. I have a family to take care of and couldn't afford both repairs and monthly payment. this was started in February and it is now 6 months later and they still haven't resold the car at auction like they promise, they have agreed with me to wait on payment until it is sold but are reporting none of this to the credit bureaus. Which is part of their job mind you. How can you trust a business that can't follow through, are terrible at conflict resolution and can't even report correctly to the credit bureau when they are a credit union! Never go here unless you want to be screwed over
