I have been banking with Key Bank since their inception and felt I needed to address my most recent interaction with them. They have done a complete "house cleaning", so to speak, and removed all (but one) familiar, friendly and knowledgeable faces. This has caused a wait of astronomical proportions, but more importantly, the inmates have been left in charge of the asylum. Not only did it take 45 minutes to do a deposit but it took 30 of those minutes to open the vault. If the ineptitude and delay, were not bad enough, no explanation or apology was forthcoming. Perhaps a good thing were I a burglar but not so great as a customer. Far from the days of Jim Casey, Phil Anderson, Rachel Jobs and Arlene Ren, when customer service was paramount, I can only say that the most recent change does not garner a feeling of respect or security. I have done substantial banking with Key Bank in the past and am very nervous going forward. We moved from Portland many years ago just to avail ourselves of a small town atmosphere and to build relationships with people and businesses not afforded in a large city. I find myself very disappointed in the changes at Key Bank.
