U.S. Bank Branch in Mukilteo, WA

I opened an account online with US Bank, ran through all the questions and the account was approved. I had set the account up to have an initial deposit made by my checking account from the local credit union I use which was going to take 3 or so days. Since the local branch is on the way home I stopped by the same day and just made a cash deposit of $300 to get the account activated. Long story short, I got a call from the local branch the next day saying they were blocking/closing my account because I had mentioned I was expecting a wire transfer deposit on a VW bus I had sold to a person in Belgium. I asked why and they said that was a prohibited business, hmmmm thats strange since the account was approved and activated online and I had answered the required questions about incoming wire transfers, what the cap/ceiling amount was, and what country they were coming from. Basically the local branch took it upon themselves to nose around and in lieu of being in compliance with the online US Bank system I guess they figured I must be laundering drug money or something and closed the account. Bottom line, I now eat $50 worth of rejected wire fees from the guy that sent me the deposit and the local US Bank branch response is "oh well".... I would recommend Key Bank or another local bank instead of US Bank...

Mukilteo Wa USBank branch I would like to share my experience with the Mukilteo Washington US Bank. I am not one to post about my experiences although this one tops my list of WORST customer service i have ever received. I was the victim of check fraud a few weeks back so i put a hard hold on my account. I went into the Mukilteo branch to remove some funds that got deposited into that account from my auto pay at work. I arrived at the bank at 4:45 right after work. At the time both tellers were busy so i sat in the chair and waited. After about 10 minutes another couple came into the bank, 5 minutes after the first banker finished and walked over to the other couple and started helping them first. Never even saying one word to me or even acknowledging that i was there. I then continued to wait another 30 minutes while the branch manager sat at his desk BSing with another client. They were not even talking about bank stuff as they were loud enough to hear from where i was sitting. He finally finished up with his client and i went to the branch managers desk and told him what i wanted to do. He took a look at my id and looked up the account he told me he could do nothing and i need to go to another branch as he didn't put on the hold. I proceeded to tell him i had waited 45 minutes to get this done while he sat there and shot the shit with another client. His response to that was it was a business client. I ask in the US Bank world is a business client more valuable then a checking one? Cause if he would of looked at my account he would have seen i to am a business client. When i called him on that and said i heard him shooting the shit he told me he didn't have to take it and kicked me out of the branch and told me never to come back. I definitely didn't expect to be treated in such a rude and unprofessional way from the branch manager there. You advertise five star service although i would have a hard time even rating my experience at 1 star. Now i know this has not been my typical experience in the 20+ years i have had an account with USBank. However the lack of respect and unprofessional behavior i have experienced, has me questioning if i even still want to do business with a company that would employ people that would treat there customers in such a unprofessional manner. .

Very rude bank teller.

I've been here a few times to make a deposit. Just a regular (normal) experience... Nothing outstanding good or bad happened... though I wish they had coffee stattion like lots of other banks do, and there's no real sitting area (those areas are office/desks for employees helping customers only, I think).

My experiance is always very good..very attentive tellers and nice attitude. This bank make me feel good and i had other banks before wamu and wells etc but this branch always have been very positive and pleasing for me!
