Only 1 star because I can't do zero. We purchased a love seat and sofa set from the Buddy’s Home Furnishing in Smokey Point, WA in September 2014. We paid it off, over $1000, in February of 2016. The couch started falling apart internally. The wood splitting and poking out through the fabric in the back of the sofas as well as in the arms. Terrible quality! This was supposedly an Ashley set. We paid an additional amount for the warranty program so we filed a claim in June of 2016. We provided pictures, signed the claims form and they sent someone out to confirm that it wasn't fixable. Time went on and we continuously had to call them for updates, they wouldn't reach out to us. Always the excuse that someone at their Claims dept. was out or not responding. In September, finally the General Manager was brought in on it and promised she would be calling twice a day until she got results, along with the 4 or 5 other cases with the same issue. TWO WEEKS went by and I reached out again to her. She didn't even recognize my name initially. More time went on and she said she couldn't get a hold of anyone in claims or that they were reviewing it. I have guests coming into town and called threatening to sue if it wasn't taken care of ASAP. TWO DAY LATER the GM called saying that it had been approved. I guess the threat of lawsuit did the trick. We went in to choose a new set since ours wasn't made anymore, and were provided with very limited options to choose from. We were also given a $100 Buddy’s gift card…great just what we wanted... A few days later the new set was delivered (October 11) but they wouldn't take the old ones. The GM said it was because it is our property, and after some harsh words that I will NOT be paying hundreds of dollars to dispose of their poor quality product she agreed to pick them up the same day. This is absolutely ridiculous! It should not have taken 5 months to replace a sofa and the fact that they rarely ever reached out to us to provide a status is unacceptable! DO NOT do business with Buddy’s!

BUDDYS WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, STORE MANAGER EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS WITH MY PURCHASE, SHE WAS CURTIOUS AND INFORMATIVE. I WOULD MOST DEFINATELY DO FUTURE BUSINESS

Well first the manger lady is super nice and helpful, shes really the only one i like dealing with, one other that helped me seemed like she was 2 eggs short of a full dozen.. If you can get together the money to buy something you want from an actual department store then I highly recommend it, if your pretty poor like the rest of America then there same as cash deal is pretty cool, except they charge you tax EVERY time you make a payment which doesn't make sense to be taxed several times for the same thing but I'm not a tax guy so who knows.. they sneak fees in there if your not careful, that's probably just for the ceo's Hawaii house payment, no biggie.. all in all if I made tons of money I wouldn't shop here but since Im not a millionaire then I guess I'm stuck with buddy's and walmart.

The people working at the Arlington store were very nice. They helped out with my new furniture and we were in and out within 30 minutes and the furniture was shipped to us the next day. Really easy and great to work with. Thanks!

Moving and getting set up is always a stressful experience but our things in storage had been ruined by rats and a flood so my daughter and I walked into Buddy''s to just look around and we met Sherrie and our world just got a whole lot brighter she hooked me up with an amazing and affordable living room set and a washer/dryer and scheduled delivery for my move in date she was extremely accommodating and empathic to my situation. Amo and Billy were my delivery team and I couldn't be happier with their consideration for my home and making sure that everything worked and was where I wanted it to be before they left, they were expedient and accommodating with my needs. Customer service was beyond expectations not only at point of sale but to the delivery. I never once felt pressured to buy or rent like many other pricey furniture stores I had gone to before going to Buddys, it was a comfortable laid back transaction. I will most definitely make Sherri and Buddy's in Smokey point my go to for everything else in the future. Thank you to all of you for making life just a little easier . Mary Ann
