Mark is a fantastic guy, and a real pro in the mortgage lending space. Home purchases and refi's are complex, and relying on a faceless online lender has left me really disappointed in my loan service in the past. Don't make that mistake, take my recommendation. Mark is the guy to talk to.

He is so incredibly knowledgable about Finances, real estate, debt, credit...he doesn't just work on loans, if you want it...he can advise and guide you based on all your options. He doesn't push, he doesn't sell. We trust him completely. This is my fourth closing with Mark Chaffee and the Mortgage Financial team and they never cease to impress! The closing process was swift and efficient (and paperless!), the rates were the best on the market, and the customer service is impeccable. Mark sets the platinum standard for treating customers well and his team follows suit. They go the extra mile and are a cut above their competition.

My experience was a little different than most might experience. Mark was HIGHLY recommended by my brother in law and I do the same now that I have had an opportunity to work with him. I went to him looking for a mortgage and he is extremely versed in this and all financial matters concerned. We talked about the available rates, which he was the most competitive and we were all set to proceed. In the interim I researched VA loans since I was eligibile and had found a lower rate. A bit leary about the rate and out of state lender I asked Mark if he would review all documents and make his recommendations. He was MORE than happy to assist and went out of his way (with the potential of losing business) to help. As it turned out, we did go with the VA loan and Mark was with me every step of the way, including, that if the VA fell through he was immediately ready to set up his loan. I can't thank Mark enough for assisting me throughout this stressful process even though he was NOT getting my business.
