Credit Services in Staunton, VA

I believe that Valley Credit Services has violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act by not informing me of their status as a debt collector or making an attempt to contact me before reporting an account as a collections account to the credit bureaus. I'm talking with my lawyer about this and I advise you do to if your credit report shows a negative account from them and you were never contacted.

Poor customer service! The people seem nice, but do not follow through on anything they tell you. They sent my account to the creditors, but didn't even notify me. They have never contacted me, I only found out that I had a delinquent balance because of my credit report. They get paid to do nothing but ruin peoples lives. How can they call themselves a collection agency if they don't contact the person that they are supposed to be collecting from???? There should be a class action law suit against these guys. I don't think what they do is legal.

Debt was reported to credit bureaus 1 day before the payment was received. Paid the total owed on August 4th, still being reported to credit bureaus on October 19th Get your records straight and report debts when they are paid!

Paid the balance off, and still show on my credit report. Do anyone know who I can report them too, is it the BBB? When calling know one answers the phone to discuss the problem at Valley Credit Services when being transferred.

Would give 0 stars if could. Record everything. Copy any credit on reports as you go. They have not put my money where it should have went and are no help in owning and fixing the situation. Luckily I have kept rwcords. Report when you have issue. I am. They ssend you to persob to "help." Who doesn't help at all. I asked numerous times not to be transferred and this still do. Never got notifications about anything. False and inaccurate information given to me by them. Pay directly to people you owe if can.
