Port Alliance Federal CU in Norfolk, VA

Worst experience with a bank ever! They just need to close their doors. They are only to make money on your "credit union" loans. When the loan is paid off, they don't make sure you get your title. They just say it's the DMV's fault call them. For anyone who thinks their rates are better than Navy Federal, it's because they are undercutting Navy Federal's rate, by not giving you the service you deserve. Just cause it's cheaper doesn't make it better.

This is a great place to bank.The staff are always so friendly. I love PortAlliance FCU. I wish they had more branches in other cities.

Never had a single problem with PAFCU, great friendly staff, excellent management, will work with you in regards to everything on your account!

I have now come to see that the 4-5 star reviews on here actually come from the staff who are required to write positive reviews.This is one of the most shadiest Used Car Salesmen type of banks I have ever seen. If you are 1 day late - get ready to have all of accounts frozen - to include checking accounts, Credit card accounts, and on and on. Very, very shady bank. Fits the neighborhood well though. Staff is not very friendly...had a previous dilemma like previous man said about frozen accounts, it's ridiculous. Found a new bank who, although had a higher interest rate, was more convenient, friendly, and actually willing to work with you.
