Very friendly people.

They have a coin sorter/counter machine that is free for account holders.

I've used NWFCU for a tad over 10 years and it really does have that small town bank vibe to it. Very hospitable and happy employees there.

Whoever said that northwest is full of friendly and hospitable people has not had the experience I've had. Someone called to "help" me with my account by talking down to me and repeating the "rules" laid out when you open the account when I insisted that there was only one way I would be able to resolve this issue. Very helpful indeed. She proceeded to hang up the phone on me saying, "okay then we will just continue to call and pester you." Ok, not sure anyone there has been trained on customer service skills. If you want me to treat you with respect then don't talk down to me and expect that I will just sit quietly and listen to you while you treat me like a child. Will be closing my account post haste and let others know about their unforgivable bank fees. I know of other banks without these fees so just ask me and I will be happy to take their business to a better local bank.
