Capital One Bank in Dale City, VA

Since 13 years I'm capital one customer and I always going to this branch, they have a excellent customer service .

Worst banking experience I've ever had. They are incredibly slow and not helpful in any way. I've visited this location to cash a cashier's check for a service twice now. The first time they said in order to cash the check, all parties involved with the check would need to be present. I've never had to have anybody but myself present to cash a check that was made out to me. I had the issuer of the check re-send a new check and went back to cash it today. The teller took one look at the check, didn't even bother to look at my I.D., and said "We're not going to be able to cash this, they shouldn't have written here." On the face of the check where everybody normally writes what a check is being made out for, they did just that and wrote what it was for. She then took the check and went to the back for 15 minutes! She never came back or explained anything, and no manager ever came to help. While I was waiting I also observed a customer of theirs angrily storm out because he was not receiving the service he expected. Once I realized I was going to be late for work and asked the teller at the next window to go check on her, she appeared back at the window promptly. The other teller yelled "just give it back! Let him go!" and the teller threw my check and I.D. down and threw her hands up in the air in disgust. I was outraged and left immediately without another word. Once I got to work I called to explain the situation to a manger. They passed the phone around between associates and claimed there was no manager. I kindly told them to give my phone number to the manager or the district manager. I hope that somebody with authority at Capital One takes notice of this incident and takes action to correct the lack of customer service, friendliness, and professionalism. From what I observed, this is how they treat every person that walks in their bank. I will never recommend Capital One to anybody.
