Tidewater Home Funding and Lois Holmes-Riable were awesome! As a first time home buyer I had a lot of questions and felt like I needed a little "hand holding" going through the financing process. Lois was always able to take my calls and respond to e-mails super fast with answers to questions and just generally keeping us up to date on the happenings. She made us feel special and taken care of and that she genuinely was happy to help us purchase our first home. She's the greatest! Thanks again Lois.

Initially I had a very good experience with this company. One of thier employees very quickly provided an estimate for a mortgage. The problem came two months later when I tried move forward on the mortgage. The employee I worked with ignored my email and two voicemails. I called a third time and when I couldn't talk to the employee I asked to talk to a manager. I wanted to express my disappointment with the situation but after 10 minutes or so on hold I gave up and wrote this review instead.

I bought my first home with them and what a pleasant experience. I could not be happier and will definitely use them in the future. Mary Beth Marshall is very nice and still updates me via email on my loan information and anything to look out for. Great experience all around.
