Wells Fargo Bank in Burke, VA

I was sitting in this Wells Fargo waiting for my friend while he finished up some business and in walked a young teenage couple. He was quiet and she was very clearly trying to impress him. As I listened to their conversation I couldn't help but reflect on my own youth and the inescapable anxiety which accompanies adolescence. In a few years they will have both graduated and gone their separate ways with only the memory of a former love kindled in a Wells Fargo in northern Virginia on a sweltering July afternoon. The smooth jazz in the background only added to the poignancy of the scene. Five stars for friendly customer service and free water.
