America First Credit Union (inside Smith's) in West Jordan, UT

I deposited a large amount of money into my checking account and the teller put it into my savings instead. I made a couple large purchases and many smaller ones over the next weeks. I was charged 15 overdraft fees at $25 a piece, some for purchases as little as six dollars. They would only credit me back three of them and told me I'm the one that made a mistake. I immediately transferred all my funds to Wells Fargo. Goodbye rude America First and thanks for the rape in fees for your tellers mistake. Also, thanks for the rude service!

I do not reccomend America First Credit Union to anyone. I have been a member for 27 years and they have finally lost my respect. Being a member of the military has its sacrifices. What I didn't realize is that those sacrifices can often include hits to your credit. When I joined the military I was told that all debt payments would be deferred while on orders. That didn't happen, because of this my credit took a hit. When I went to my credit union of 27 years they offered me an 11% interest rate on an auto loan and all they had to say is that I was worth no more an my experian credit score. That they wouldn't lend to me at any less of an interest rate than 11%. Even though my score is good with Equifax and Transunion and I have paid every loan off with interest, I was not worthy of any sort of "normal" interest rate. I have receivd a 5% loan from USAA who understands our service members. Shame on America First.
