Check City in St. George, UT

The employees are fast and very friendly. I was sent here by a friend and for sure would also recommended this check city location.

Any time I need a little extra cash, I just head over to check city. The staff there is very friendly and knowledgable. I have had a pleasant experience every time I have needed to go there. I will be staying with check city for all of my lending needs.

I was a client for years, but no more. Check City used to have a decent rate of interest for people who only get paid 1 time per month--for instance, teachers, government workers, social security, retirees, etc. Since people who only get paid 1 time per month can make payments 1 time per month, the rate was half of what it was for people who get paid every 2 weeks. Recently they discontinued this rate, effectively forcing the most cash strapped borrowers to pay twice the interest rate. The company "claims" the change occurred because of some "audit" by the state of Utah and claiming they didn't want to be accused of discrimination (this is what I was told by several employees). I question this claim. What I think has happened is that after the founder passed away last year, who I understand was a very benevolent man, what I suspect is that the greedy children have run amok and want to shake down those who are underprivileged. Tosh (whom I have actually met) and his siblings have lost a customer and my message to them is they can go (****) themselves. I will find a better deal elsewhere.

This place is the best. All of the staff members are very helpful and make every thing very clear before you agree on any loan. If you need to borrow some cash regardless of how you get paid, they usually can find a way to get you some money. I highly recommend this place.

Not wonderful. Wait times are ridiculous, even when the place is empty. The interest rates are REALLY high no matter what your credit is. Employees are hardly courteous either.
