America First Credit Union in South Jordan, UT

This is for America First as a whole, not this location. When I was in a car accident, they refused to work with my GAP insurance, and wouldn't send them verification of the title. Because the GAP insurance wasn't sure where the title was, they wouldn't pay off the loan. This went on for several months until my credit was damaged, I accrued hundreds of dollars in interest, and all I needed was for them to send a simple letter stating they had the title. I've since left and got most of my family to leave as well.

Went to this branch of AFCU to open a business checking account. It turned out the State of Utah had approved our business entity, but had not entered us into the BES system yet. Rather than have all the member/owners come in twice, Lorianne did all she could so that we would be able to conduct the rest of the business by email once the state caught up with us. This was very much appreciated. UPDATE: Turns out I reviewed too early. Lorianne was not able to help us like she thought. She had us go to more trouble at the time, but still needs us to come back in. I thought I had an exceptional customer-service experience. Turns out this was more of the we-know-it's-not-convenient-for-you-but-you-have-to-do-what-our-policy-says kind of service that is pretty shoddy, but probably not atypical.

Keep charging me fees for not having insurance even though they have proof of insurance

Always greeted by name and with a smile. Great customer service!

Credit Unions are staggeringly better than banks. America First has been a pleasure to work with. The South Jordan location staff was professional and the building was well designed.
