Acima Credit in Sandy, UT

I paid off my account before the first payment was due. The payment was 1,083.00 and Acima had raised my credit limit to $1,115.00. Now, I can have something really nice at Price Busters. Thank you very much and I appreciate you with all my heart. Also, this will reflect on my credit report/score.

No online account access, they don't send balances or statements via mail. I got talked into getting a loan for mattresses by a smooth talking mattress salesman who uses this finance company. I have 7 months left on my loan I pay $140/mo on. The interest is nuts and they cannot restructure my loan. Total regret! I do not recommend, don't fall for it.

You get what you pay for. we purchased a formal dining room set for almost $1900.00. They packaged up the floor model and gave that to us. It had a few nicks but in fairness not really noticeable until you go to polish your furniture. The most disturbing part is less than a year after purchase the wood of the buffet started cracking and lifting and if we touch it, you will surely end up pulling of a huge piece of wood that will definitely ruin the entire set. It's not "real" wood so looks good but quality is horrific. Of course the return policy doesn't cover you a year later so you are just stuck. We will buy another set from a store that carries quality products down the road, but just KNOW that this is not quality furniture at all. You cannot compare it to Haverty's or even Rooms to go..so if you have the right expectations, you are fine. Great for young people trying to get in their first apartment or house where you KNOW you are going to replace it in the near future. I would NEVER buy from them again..and the interest rates and payments are highway robbery. I financed my furniture, and then paid it off the next month once I calculated the interest and amount I would be paying out of pocket. I was blessed that I can do that, but really feel sorry for the people who just need a break and who THINK they are getting one, but they are being bamboozled with a smile. As usual, some company preys upon the weak, the vulnerable and most needy and poor among us.

When I applied, the deal was supposedly 90 day no credit check financing. They checked and denied. I got a cosigner and got my bed, although at that point I already wished there was another finance option. For my troubles I received two hits to my credit. I paid everything on time. Despite the earlier foibles, I would have been reasonably satisfied if this was reported on my credit. It wasn't. In the time since I have been spammed with dozens of mailers in my email and paper mailbox proclaiming I'm automatically approved. But why the heck would I take on further debt from a company that is only making my credit worse and doesn't operate as advertised?

Wonderful Experiences with this Company. Very Professional, prices were reasonable and Yes, I would refer J & M Furniture & Mattress Store to all of my family and friends. They are GREAT PEOPLE TO DO BIZ WITH !
