I Just closed on my home refinance which is now the second opportunity that I have had to work personally with Tarik. Although Tarik switched companies there was no question in my mind of who I wanted to help me get through this process, I did not hesitate in the slightest. The reasoning behind this is because although very professional he doesn’t treat you like a client he takes interest in you as an individual and will never pressure you into a situation that is better for him. He does a terrific job of looking out for the client and their best interest. I would strongly recommend working with Tarik and his team for any refinance or purchase he will make sure that you meet your deadline and will make it as easy and painless for you as it possibly can be. As far as I’m concerned there is no other route or option when dealing with a home mortgage with his experience he can offer many options and will take the time to explain everything so that you can make an educated decision on whats best for you and your situation. On top of that his team is very friendly and a joy to work with. It was a great pleasure to with Tarik and Alisa and everyone else at Peoples Mortgage. Its safe to say they have at the very least one client for life!

My experience with People Mortgage was positive. Short Version: Sheri Nemelka! Long Version: I recently had what I would call a luxurious loan experience. Yes, I just used the word luxury in reference to a mortgage loan. Having worked with Sheri in the past (as in co-workers), she was the #1 choice of who I wanted to work with whenever the time came for me to purchase my first home. Well the time finally came and without skipping a beat, Sheri delivered! My expectations were exceeded (and I didn't think this possible). Sheri was there every step of the way. She patiently explained my options, let me know exactly what was needed and what to expect. As a much appreciated bonus, she proactively provided updates every step along the way. With this being my first home purchase, she also gave encouragement and emotional support. Who gets therapy from a loan officer?! I did! Sheri's caring and kind demeanor, delightful enthusiasm, and her professional mortgage prowess all contributed to making this a strangely enjoyable experience. And get this! She finished the process in record speed! Realtors, seller, ME, all delighted! A week early? Unheard of! I give Sheri the highest rating possible! She knows, really KNOWS, how to get the job done! As a first time buyer Ryan and his team were extremely helpful and professional along every step of the buying process. I don't even know where to begin with describing my experience with Peoples Mortgage. I am a first time home buyer and a single women, so the idea of buying a home by myself was very scary. I was nervous not only about looking at homes but scared to find out if I even qualified for a home loan. Jason Reid and his team at peoples mortgage made my experience extremely personal and very easy for me to feel knowledgable about the process. From the beginning they answered all my questions morning or night, made sure to educate me on what was happening with my loan and home each step of the way, and they make sure that I was involved in every decision. Everyone went out of their way to get me the best possibly loan and rate right up until the day I closed. To show just how dedicated they were to my experience, it came down to the day of my closing. There were some issues with the appraisal and fix of my roof that needed to be taken care of prior to signing the closing papers, they personally went over to the house to meet with two different roofers the day of my closing in order make it happen. Without their effort that day I would not have closed on time and I possibly would have gone into default. I can't express how happy I am to be new home owner and I would not have been able to pull it off with out the team at Peoples Mortgage. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing.
