Great customer service!

I highly recommend Granite Credit Union. I banked with them for 14 years before I had to move out of state, and unfortunately, use another bank. Throughout those 14 years, not once did I have an issue. Do yourself a favor and bank through Granite Credit Union. You won't regret it!

I went in for a small personal loan, apprehensively, don't have an account with the CU, had to give a local address that I use for literally zero things/ people as my residency is 4 hours south, thus, the woman in the loan dept was the one person with my full name and local address. She had asked what the loan was for, I said, a vehicle tire and rifle I've been saving for but want sooner than winter and am impatient (I shoot competitively but sold my old one when I was in a tight spot last yr). I didn't have one of the pieces of paperwork I needed to complete the loan process this morning and left telling her I'd think about it after the interest rate seemed a bit high to me, and this not being an immediate necessity, seemed like I might be making an impatient decision anyway so I wasn't too upset about leaving empty-handed. Well, a couple hours later the local police are knocking on my door asking if I'm okay, emotionally, etc. Seriously? Beings no one has this address for me except her, I'm making the educated guess that she called in about me. Thanks for the concern I guess but I'm a long time rifleman and just trying to shoot/ get used to my competition weapon before November when I'll have saved enough. To be morbid... If I was going to buy a rifle to put through my brain, it wouldn't cost a grand, it would be something cheap and immediately accessible. Maybe don't be so passive if you legit think there's a problem, ask while someone is there, lie and say it's part of the process when that comes up if you're worried about offending someone. Or just ask why a rifle and what rifle, etc. All set on not using GCU.

Extremely thankful for this location. On several occasions I have come into this Granite Credit Union on a lunch break or immediately after work to look into something on my account. Either a number isn't exactly what I thought it would be, a deposit was needed, a withdrawal, etc. I tend to go here a lot (at least twice a month), and even with all of my questions the staff has always been so helpful, patient and courteous. Today I worked with a wonderful woman who's name I forgot to grab... She was so polite and extremely helpful. Their printer was acting up and she couldn't print out the statement for me, but she offered to go through the area I was most interested in. She literally read aloud each item for me and we were able to find the exact reason for the difference in 120.00 in my account. Her doing that for me gave me such a great piece of mind and her hard work was so appreciated! I just wish I had her asked for her name to give her credit in this review. Thank you Granite Credit Union for being so dependable!
