Review Capital One Bank

My payroll checks came from capital one, and for months I had to pay $7.00 to have my check cashed here because I don't have an account, even though my employer did. I usually cashed it at wal-mart instead, but I shouldn't have to do that. I also waited in line on a regular basis for more than 15 minutes, even if I was the only person in line. I hate going to this bank and I am so glad my company went to direct deposit.

It is almost always a 30 minute wait or longer in the commercial lane. There have been times when I have pulled up and the commercial is over 5 deep. I have also been inside before and asked to step to the side so they can take the next customer because my transaction will take longer than the regular customer in line behind me. In the last month or so they have also shorted my change fund on 2 separate occasions.

This is the absolutely slowest bank in town. I can not tell how rediculous it is to wait more than 45 minutes in the commercial lane and have your store open up late all because they won't hire more that 1 teller! DONT USE THIS BANK!!!!!!!!!!!

Last February I opened my first ever back account I loved the fact I could take a picture of my check and not have to go to the bank to deposit my check I loved the app and enjoyed all the convenience of the bank But that all changed when like every other week I decided to deposit the cash which was $50 into my account with my check I wrapped two 20s and a 10 around my drivers license my daughter also saw me do this and placed it with my check in the tube I get my receipt and it says I've only deposited my check amount I ask about the cash They say you didn't send any cash I go in They give me the run around saying are you sure you put it in I know for a fact I did They say we will audit out drawers Of course they don't find it Long story short One of the bank tellers stole $50 from me I was so mad I began to cry and told them of course I'm gonna be the one in the wrong Nothing was done no apologies NOTHING I drew out all my money and don't trust banks now.

I understand being under staffed and going slow because there isn't enough employees, however, I feel like this branch has more problems than just being "under staffed". I'm greeted by 3 people in the mornings when I need to get my change order and receipts for work. Sure, that's nice and they are nice, but there is usually only 1 teller working, sometimes 2 (if it's 2, the other one is usually closed). If you are understaffed, shouldn't you be taking the time to train these employees to work as a teller? Instead of just having them stand around doing nothing? I usually try to get there early but sometimes things happen and I end up getting to the bank later than I would like, and I only have a certain amount of time before I need to open up my store. I've waited 20 minutes in the lobby waiting for a small change order and the chance to get my receipts. 1 teller open. 3 employees standing around. Besides myself, there was only one other person waiting. How do you have that many people working there that are not able to help me- or I should say, help their customers? Or see me standing there, having been here for longer than 10 minutes, and come to my assistance when it's taking quite a while for the only open teller to help their current customer? I honestly would hate to see what this bank is like when there is more than just 3 people needing assistance. I need to be able to get my change in a timely manner so I can open up my store. There have been several times when myself and my employees have been a few minutes late opening because of this bank. We are usually there early in the morning, when it is not busy at all. Getting out in a timely fashion should not be an issue. I would also very much like to bring up the night drop off. It is BROKEN and needs to be fixed. I would like to be able to drop off our deposits without having to fight the deposit box. Or have to maneuver it in a certain way to get it opened. This is an ongoing problem, one that we have been dealing with for MONTHS. When is there going to be any resolutions?
