US Post Office in Lufkin, TX

Okay. So I ordered something with 2-3 day guaranteed shipping. Got my tracking number and it was sent out Oct. 3 with a delievery day of the 5th (By the way, its the 7th today). Just so happened it got stuck in Houston then returned to Austin to be sent back to Houston (where it has been departed from since 2 am and its noon now still not at my local one and I live 2 hours away....). Maybe it's gonna make the trip one more time around. SUPER mad. Oh and I KNOW for a FACT that our mail man skips our apartment complex MULTIPLE times a week!!!

Passes right by mailbox even when obvious mail is visible! No way to contact post office as either busy or no answer. Local office directs us to Lufkin. Sad, as I mail a lot of packages.

Regardless of anytime I go in to this USPS location, there is always a line longer than there should be. I currently see 7 counter positions that employers could stand at and yet they're only 3 employers working up from. Last year, it was the same thing everytime I came here. So it's nothing new. Slow customer service. Go anywhere else besides here if you can. I promise you that you won't regret going here if you don't have to.

Exactly what you would expect from a Government -run agency. Phone number, when not busy, goes to a recorded message listing office hours, and an 800 number to call for any other questions. Impossible to speak to a person and find out what the problem is. Claim to have attempted delivery and left a notice of failed delivery, not once, but twice. No notice was left on either occasion. Typical ineffectiveness and incompetence. Will never again make the mistake of purchasing anything that requires shipment by USPS.

Everytime something is delivered to my house they just leave it sitting on the doorstep. No knock on the door or nothing. Now because of this I have a package showed delivered yet I never received it! Not happy at all!
