Capital One Bank in Lufkin, TX

After many years banking with them they are starting to charge a $35.00 fee each month I don't have a $25,000 balance. I always had 5000+ in the account. What business these days can afford to have that much cash not in use. I am very disappointed. The location was convenient but the fees are unreasonable. I will look for another bank with "hometown" treatment.

I know many Capital Ones are shutting down. However, you'd think corporate would consider their loyal customers. This branch got rid of all the regular employees. The new employees seem to not really know much. The long blond haired lady was not welcoming to me at all and directed me to follow up with customer support, all I needed was a print off. I'm disappointed, after several years of good banking it seems I may need to invest in another bank, as I don't want to drive two hours to the next closest Capital One to receive good service. Capital One has been a good bank to me, it's sad the recent changes are having a negative effect on the bankers. What's going on Capital One?...

All off staff has been terminated....no familiar faces any more....operation now runs on a real skeleton crew designed for complete multi task business operation.....I stopped in with my son to get him a debit card for his savings which they did, and was told to call from now on and make an appointment for any future banking business/services that we may need.......Can not just stop by your personal bank (Capital One) and speak with some one anymore about any banking or account situation, must call and schedule a appointment that fits into skeletons crew schedule.....DON'T THINK SO !!.....we will be closing all our accounts and finding a fully staffed bank or Credit Union that will be fully receptive at any time to its banking customers. Prob early signs of Chapter 11 or prepping the books to show a larger profit margins, maybe going to sell out ?

Okay hmmm just going over the reviews and seems like customers not happy. Do I need to change my bank as I prefer to learn from the people's mistake instead of making my own. So far so good. I can give them 4 stars for not causing any issues for me. The awarding of 5th star entirely relies on the bank's customer service and their professionalism.

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Everyone at the bank in Lufkin are helpful. BUT... The customer service number you call and speak to someone... SUCKS. They closed my account for NO REASON. That's where my direct deposit goes... I HAVE BILLS TO PAY! Is Capital One going to pay those late charges... nope. #LIVID No to add, I just checked my account 2 days and it had money in it, and they told me during my call that it had a zero balance.
