Datcu Credit Union in Lewisville, TX

Good customer service. Best place to go to for low interest rates. Very few locations though. You can't do deposits at NONE of their ATM"s.

This place is awesome. I have an auto loan, credit card, & savings with them. Soon I will have a mortgage, & new auto loan in the future. This place rocks. I had to leave a message after seeing it only had 1 review... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? WOW.. AWESOME PLACE.....

Been with DATCU for four years and we have had several issues with our account and how charges post. I can honestly say we have had one or two positive customer service instances with DATCU. My wife is a teacher and my mother-in-law has been a teacher for over 20 years with LISD. They do not care to help out teachers and I have received better customer service in the past from big banks like Wells Fargo and Chase. We have threatened to leave DATCU several times (with no pushback or plea to keep us as customers from DATCU) but we will definitely close our accounts and move them to Chase or a different credit union. When I think of a teacher credit union I think of excellent customer service and a bank that is willing to "help" out their teachers in difficult times. In the past four years we have dealt with the passing of my mother and father, along with the passing of my wife's grandmother. Needless to say we fell on difficult financial times and DATCU was not willing to waive or even consider waiving fees during this time. Previous credit unions we have been with in the Texas panhandle felt like a hometown bank that worked for the people. Just my opinion but I would not recommend joining this credit union.

Had my debit card digits stolen today. Got a text to stop an invalid transaction and the card was blocked immediately. A second transaction was declined within minutes of the first. I went to my branch, filled out a fraud report and got a new card on the spot. Neither transaction made it to my bank account. It doesn't get any better than that. Thank you so much.
