United Community Credit Union in Houston, TX

Horrible horrible horrible. This credit union may have been a good one to do business with in the 1980's, but they are far behind with the times. They do not even have to ablility to transfer money to other bank accounts.

Tony Lee is horrible!! He does not provide good customer service at all! I had been a member for over 6 years and recently my account became negative and Tony sent it to collections without any notice. He later lied and said that I could take care of the balance and reopen my account and now he refuses! He does not return phone calls and he said he can close an account anytime he wants!! After this horrible experience I would never suggest this credit union to anyone. Never deal with Tony Lee because he is an unprofessional liar and does not care about your membership.

Worst excuse for a credit union I've ever seen! They charged me for an incorrect address despite me NOT MOVING FOR OVER 20 YEARS! Refused to refund the money when I proved them wrong! I witnessed other members having the same problem! I had my IRA here and never earned one penny! Cancelled my debit card w/o telling me while I was on vacation! They told me it was "compromised" and FORCED me to come IN PERSON rather than mailing me a new one ruining my vacation! Theresa Walker is the most unprofessional, rude and arrogant "banker" I've had the displeasure of knowing! Do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere! Scam Central!

The black old lady in the front desk is so rude so If you have kids don't bring them here she will give them a ugly face looking to see what they are doing watching there every move. I don't understand where are we supposed to leave them. I just think it is so rude.

Worst UCC branch I've ever been to. Managers and employees don't know their own rules and regulations when it comes to depositing checks. One day they'll put a hold on a check I deposit the next day they won't very inconsistent and inconvenient. Won't be visiting this location ever again!
