I honestly wish I could give this place less than one star, as I sit here on hold for the 17th minute in a row! I've been a member here since 2011, and service has been going downhill fast since August 2015. As soon as I find a new bank, I'm quitting MemberSource, and here's why: In the past few months I've been on NEVER ENDING HOLD at least 6 times. There's no consistency regarding check hold times...sometimes they hold it for three days, sometimes they put half in savings and hold the rest for a day or two...when I asked about why it was always different, despite the check always being from my husbands employer, they said "it's up to the teller at the time." One time at a "shared branch" I deposited cash AND a check. They put a hold on the check and the cash both, despite the fact that cash is supposed to hit the account instantly. I ordered a debit card for my husband, it never showed up so I called them about it, they said they had a computer glitch and had to manually order all the cards, but forgot to order his. I asked that they ship it to the branch because we were moving, and they forgot to do that too. Sometimes shared banking is down and I have to use the actual branch on Richmond which is further away for me. My former boss was a member here for 17 years, and recently left due to the horrible service. To sum up: they're incompetent, sometimes rude, and have no idea what they're doing. Go somewhere else.

Two time with bad experience, Not professional banking and lack of information and knowledge with their bankers and loan officer as well. if you apply for any kind of loan with member source they are making it to complicated and difficult ,i applied 2 years ago for consolidate loan to pay off my debt and they ask for more and more documents and in last nothing no answer, i tried to refinance my new car and i have good credit score ,they keep me in hold for 4 hours to approve the loan ,first they said you approved but after they ask me if i can add one cosigner into my loan ,zero quality at all .

The worse experience ever! If you need a loan in a hurry, don't come here. Loan process started on 12/5/2016, and it's now Jan.12, 2017 and everyday they need another piece of my life "on file"! I drove 120 miles, round trip to give them all they needed, (so they said) and I'm still sending (email, reg. mail) the same documents over & over to multiple people. My information must be all over that credit union by now! My loan is not finalized yet!! Another day, another document!

Perfect credit union! Staff are friendly just transfered all my funds to my new opened account. A lady asked to help me open my account but since I already had a appointment with someone else I waited. Drinked my coffee while I waited, very nice and clean, A lot of young faces ready to grow in the industry, I always recommend my customers to come refinance vehicles and open new Accounts. I like this credit union a lot because of the convenient location and the extreme neatness* Thank you Member Source Credit Union!! Keep it up!!

CHECK YOUR LOAN!!!! Our mortgage is through MemberSource in my husband's name. Our loan was transferred to MemberSource, it was not originated here. Each month our amortization schedule (self prepared) was significantly different than how MS was applying our payments. They were shorting us on principal. We even started paying larger payments to chip away at the principal quicker and it wasn't working. He called several times and no one could answer his simple question - HOW ARE YOU CALCULATING THE INTEREST? The phone operators would promise a call back and no one would call back. He went into the bank today and had 3 people attempt to figure out what was wrong only to determine MemberSource has been incorrectly calculating our mortgage from the beginning of our loan. After all this, no one offered an apology, in fact they seemed annoyed that he was even asking about it. After hearing this I checked our car loan - in my name - through MemberSource (a coincidence) and sure enough the math doesn't work on it either! Two separate loans, two different types of loans, two different account holders and they are both wrong? I don't feel like this is a coincidence. I would not be surprised if ALL loans were wrong at this Credit Union. BEWARE and check your statements!
