Woodforest National Bank in Gun Barrel City, TX

worst experience ever!!!!! I have been with woodforest for just over three years and have been very pleased up until having to deal with this branch...they emailed me telling me that my account had been compromised... I go to the branch to find out what's going on, I stand in line for twenty five minutes just to be told very rudely that I need to go to another line, I wait there just over thirty minutes. finally I see someone, she tells me that since I live in Florida I have to drive there to fix the problem....but I don't live in Florida I tell her....oh OK she says then we have to open a new account ....I will spare everyone with all the rest of that conversation because it would cause you to lose I.Q. points just hearing it...finally after an hour she said I will have to call back the next day to get my new ATM card...I call the next morning at the exact time she said...and for the next hour and a half....so now I'm at the bank to find out what's going on, I stand in line twenty minutes again, I see the lady at the counter and she says you will have to go to the end of the lineAGAIN and wait for a different person....I tell her what is going on just to have her talk to me as if I was a drug addict begging money for drugs....I have had a bank account of some type since I was nine and I have never been treated as badly as I have been at this branch, and by the way they messed everything up so bad that the people at corporate can't figure out what they did and why...there is way more to this that would make everyone just stare in disbelief that a bank would do this but I'm so mad at the whole mess that I'm just going to stop here and go find another bank that cares about customers....

My favorite bank and branch. They're all so laid back and aren't annoying selling robots. Love these ladies

I have been banking with Woodforest Bank for more than ten years now and I have not had a single problem with the staff or the services that they offer. The hours are great and conveniently located inside Walmart.
