United Community Credit Union in Galena Park, TX

I have banked at UCCU on Normandy, since 2014 and am happy to say it has been a positive experience. The tellers, customer service and drive thru staff, all...have been very nice, and helpful. Unfortunately, fraud usage on my card has happened multiple times, so I can tell you with confidence the fraud specialists there are "on top of it", professional "and" friendly. I do have to take off work to go to the credit union to fill out the paperwork to submit for approval, to contest the fraud charges. However, they have always removed the charges with no objection. BEST perks: If your account gets low at the end of your pay cycle, and a charge hits it, i.e. insufficient funds... you only get charged $5 per transaction versus $35 a bank would charge! I also really value kind, helpful customer service and I can always count on this from United Community Credit Union.

I went to try to refinance my car, I understand that my car was upside down so it was going to be more difficult to get a loan. I spoke to one of the representatives the first time it was going good I got some information and did my application. After a few days I didn't got a reply no call , no email, no nothing I wanted to know about my case. I went again in person and they told me it was declined that they could not do anything at all to help me out. I could of at least got a call or something .Thankfully I found somewhere else that refinance my car at a way lower rate in a good price for the whole amount of money.

Young, car-less and newly divorced, with basically no credit history. Years ago. UCCU was the only bank that would help me get on my feet. Now I have my second car loan through them, along with other accounts. Super low interest rates! Close to home credit unions are the way to go! They also support military!!! NOTE: If anyone objects to this credit union, it's probably because they are NOT living responsibly or with in their means! Thank you UCCU for everything!
