First Class American CU in Fort Worth, TX

In less than 24 hrs that I had applied for a loan not only was I called that morning, I very simply, completed the process and talked through it with Richard and surprisingly had everything taken care of for me practically while I was at work, quickly changed my view on this bank to very positive.

I highly recommend First Class American Credit Union. Everyone in the bank is very professional, helpful, and polite. Kyla, my loan manager, was great! She was on top my boat loan during the whole process. I couldn't have asked for a better experience financing my new boat.

We've had an RV loan with them (not my choice) since 2014. Since then, I've asked, every 4 months or so, about being able to access my account, balance, and make payments online. They've said they are working with IT for the last 2yrs. Still not able to make a payment online....really? It's 2016, EVERYONE else offers this most convenient option. Not Them!

Banking hassles, I hate banking here so I stopped and went back to my other bank. I travel for work and what a pain- they constantly shut off your atm card the second you are out of the state and the answer is OH just call us and let us know.. I'm not 12 - I do not need or want to check into my bank every time I leave. They charge for new cards, now they are charging for the checking account. I keep my accounts there because I have loans with them. But now I'm supposed to pay a fee monthly on an account that sits idle with just savings money in there and absolutely no activity. The only positive thing I can say is that the loans here are great rates and the loan people are awesome, its actually almost as if its two entities ... the banking side is awful all the way down to contacting them yet the loan dept is absolutely wonderful.

I have banked with this place for 4 years and have has enough. They now want to charge for checking and explain it away with this NEW checking that offers so much. Their doesn't appear to be any new services from the new to the "old" checking. This place is slowly turning into a bank ran by the government and not by it's people. Try calling around lunch time and see if anybody answers, good luck. I guess since they started billing everyone for their NEW checking account, they can afford to leave and eat high priced lunches at the members expense. I Would not bank here even if they payed me, theirs better banks and credit unions out there. Don't get sucked in.
