Review Credit Systems International, Inc.

On June 5, 2015 April Smith with Credit Systems International, Inc contacted me via telephone. She stated Spark Energy hired them to collected $100.49 from me which was an Early Termination Fee which I did not pay and was not going to pay as I was lied to by Spark Energy's salesman who came to my door. On May 15m, 2014 I cancelled my service with Spark Energy. 13 months later Spark Energy turned me over to CCSII to get them to collect from me. I explained the situation to CSII and they said to put it in writing and mail it to them. I also told a Pat Water the information and mailed her the information I had. In the letter of June 10, 2015 I stated "We dispute the entire amount of $100.49." I also said "Please advise me within 30 days what the outcome of this dispute is". I NEVER heard a single word from CSII or Spark Energy until this morning, June 1, 2016. Spark Energy was calling to find out WHEN I was going to pay them the $100.49. I told her the same thing I told CSII and she said she would have to give all this information to her manager and have her manager call me. I called CSII and talked to Pat Water and she stated Spark Energy "took our file back on October 2015," and she had no idea WHY or what was going on and I needed to call Spark Energy. So, now I'm waiting for Spark Energy to call me back, if they every do. CSII is one of the worst collection agencies I have ever worked with. I was in the collection field for many, many years and know how it works. I've NEVER had a client take their files BACK from the collection agency, nor be able to tell you anything about the file or WHY Spark Energy took the file back. CSII HAS SOME REAL PROBLEMS IN THEIR DISPUTE DEPARTMENT AND THEY NEED TO GET THEIR "STORIES" STRAIGHT. It will be interesting to see how all of this turns out.

Whatever this place is has bad reviews and wants me to send them personal information such as social security information bank account information power of attorney Just to take a message on the party they were calling for. The party they are calling for is Disabled suffered head trauma and memory loss. They refuse to tell me anything not even their name. Stated I had to send this personal information to a PO BOX not even a true place of address. Seems to me, everyone needs to beware!!! I believe they are trying to steal money, ripoff a disabled women who is in the hospital right now for edema almost giving her a stroke, which I stated to the person on the phone, how can a disabled party who suffered head trauma, memory loss and currently back in the hospital know if they have outstanding bills. Are you serious? Someone of high authority needs to look at this CSII PO box place. Demanding myself to send personal banking social power of attorney exct.. to them at a PO BOX and wont even give me their name. That is disgusting. Why dont you go steal a blind mans seeing eye dog why your at it!!!!!

Answered the phone"Hello" instead of with the company name or anything close to professional. Then while taking with the lady about the settlement amount she didn't even check to see if they'd accept it...... She flat out said no. I had to tell her to go check. After I submitted the payment the other lady said "ok it went through, bye".... I had to request a confirmation number. Sounded like I called a real professional business.

So a corrupt medical office elected to send us to collections for a bill for $66, because they couldn't bill the insurance company due to them waiting a year to get this bill out, as they are bound by contract to send them out in 120 days. My awesome insurance company conference called with me, and CSII said that I, personally had to file a claim. My insurance company told them that in fact, I do not, because it was in-network. CSII claimed that I still had to file it, so after the insurance company offered to fax the contract to them, CSII stated that they can only accept correspondence via phone and US mail. Gee whiz, I wonder why that is? No paper trail? Of course! Enjoy your certified letter, CSII!

I've spoken with collectors from this company several times regarding a medical bill. I've asked them repeatedly to send me a statement in the mail because the Dr's office never billed me before sending this to collections. They claim they did, but it was returned. I'd give them 5 stars if they hadn't pulled that old BS chestnut out on me. Other than that, they are calm, professional, helpful, and don't seem to take anything personally. As with most people, you can really see the best in them by treating them with respect and not taking your anger out on them. They have a job to do, and jobs aren't always easy to come by. This is a hard job, and they don't like people treating them like crap. So be nice and understand that lady you're screaming at could be a single mom working two jobs to make ends meet. Stop being a jerk and work it out calmly and respectfully.
